About PromptDoc
Our mission is to make safe, high-quality clinical AI something any clinician or student can use in seconds — without ever putting patient data at risk.
Large language models can take real work off your plate — drafting a discharge summary, structuring a handover, turning jargon into something a patient can actually understand. But getting good, safe output takes carefully built prompts, and most clinicians end up pasting sensitive details straight into consumer ChatGPT or Claude — tools never designed to hold patient information.
PromptDoc fixes both problems. It's for the people who are on the go — junior doctors between patients, students on placement, clinicians who want the help of AI but don't want to use OpenAI or Claude directly with anything sensitive. Instead of a blank chat box, you get a library of ready-made, clinician-written prompts for the tasks you actually do, and a private workspace built to protect patient data rather than absorb it.
We built PromptDoc compliance-first. The in-app runner screens every message with a PHI guard before it goes anywhere, retains nothing by default, and only ever talks to a model provider configured to hold a Business Associate Agreement — never a consumer endpoint. We would rather show you a disabled button than quietly route your words somewhere they shouldn't go.
Built with students in mind. Learning medicine means writing endless notes, letters and summaries, and learning to do them well. PromptDoc gives students and trainees the same vetted prompts the pros use — with the safety rails on — so they build good habits from day one, at a price that respects a student budget.
PromptDoc is a tool for clinicians, not a replacement for them. It doesn't diagnose, treat or advise, and every output is a draft for you to verify. It just helps you spend less time fighting blank text boxes and more time doing the work only you can do.
