Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of PromptDoc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully, especially the sections on professional responsibility and limitation of liability.
1. The service
PromptDoc provides a library of professionally written prompt templates for use with large language models, plus an optional in-app AI chat that runs prompts through a configured model provider. PromptDoc supplies templates and software tools only. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not establish a clinician–patient relationship.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Professional responsibility
- You must not enter patient-identifiable information into PromptDoc or any model accessed through it.
- All outputs are drafts. A qualified clinician must independently verify any output before it informs or becomes part of clinical care.
- You remain solely responsible for your clinical decisions and for meeting your professional, registration, institutional and legal obligations, including privacy and health-records laws in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any environment in which you handle sensitive information meets your applicable regulatory requirements.
4. Plans, billing and refunds
- Free — access to a limited set of prompts at no cost.
- Library — a one-time purchase granting lifetime access to the full prompt library, including prompts added later, for the account that made the purchase. “Lifetime” means for as long as PromptDoc continues to operate the service; it does not guarantee the service will be offered indefinitely.
- Premium — a recurring monthly subscription that adds the in-app AI chat (subject to a fair-use message limit). It renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and may change on a prospective basis. Payments are processed by Stripe. To the extent permitted by law, one-time and subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
- Student discounts are offered at our discretion and may require verification.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- circumvent plan limits, access controls, or the PHI guard;
- scrape, resell, or redistribute the prompt library;
- use the service unlawfully, or to harass, harm, or infringe others;
- attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the service.
6. Intellectual property
The prompt library, branding, and site content are owned by PromptDoc and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the prompts in your own clinical practice or study, including outputs you generate with them. You may not resell, sublicense, or republish the library itself.
7. AI outputs
AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are provided for drafting and educational support only and must be verified by a qualified clinician. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any output.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PromptDoc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for loss arising from clinical decisions made in reliance on the service. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify PromptDoc against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service, including any entry of patient-identifiable information contrary to these terms.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using PromptDoc at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
